EalionMed Hydrocolloid Dressing with Border is to manage light to moderate exudates wound, and it’s consist of a self-adhesive layer with a polyurethane film outer cover. On contact with wound exudate, the hydrocolloid layer forms a cohesive gel, provide a moist wound healing environment.

Intended Uses

Intended Uses

EalionMed Hydrocolloid Wound Dressings with Border are indicated for the management of wounds that have light to moderate exudates, such as pressure ulcers, leg ulcers, diabetic foot ulcers, surgical wounds, donor sites, superficial wounds including minor burns, abrasions, cuts, lacerations, granulating wounds.

Since they only need to be changed every three to seven days, hydrocolloid dressings cause only minimal wound disruption, which helps to speed up wound healing and minimize wound pain.

How to Remove

1. Press down on the skin and carefully lift the dressing starting at one edge.

2. Pull towards the center of the wound until the dressing is removed.

3. Cleanse the wound with saline solution or an appropriate wound cleanser, if necessary.

Frequency of Change

EalionMed Hydrocolloid Wound Dressings must be changed when

• It is saturated, indicated by colour change from pale yellow to white.

• In the event of a leakage

• If the dressing is uncomfortable for the patient

EalionMed Hydrocolloid Wound Dressings can be used for up to 7 days, dependent on patient exudate levels.

Cautions and Tips

Don’t use for full thickness burn wound.Don’t use for patients with a known allergy to hydrocolloid dressings.Single-use proudct for each piece, do not reuse it.

HOLD the DRESSING by HAND for 30 seconds to active the adhesiveness and get better wearing. Do not suitable for high adhesive requirement.Prevent cloths or equipment from rubbing on the ends of the patch to longer using.The wear time will be shorted and products lose adhesion if staying in high temperature environment or making strenuous exercise because of a lot of sweating.
