Help with Whistling

1.Reduce the volume.

Turn off or lower the volume before inserting the instrument in your ear.

2.Securely position the instrument into your ear.

Once the hearing aid is properly seated in your ear,the whistling will generally stop.

3.Clear the ear canal of wax or debris.

Check your ear with help.

4.Change the ear piece or tubing

Change a new one or a different size one.

Make sure the tubing is not broken or torn.

Question: How to clean and care my hearing aids?

Answer:

1.Taking good care of your hearing aids can help extend their life and ensure they maintain their sound quality. It is strongly recommended to clean your hearing aids at the end of each day of use, prior to placing them in your charging case to charge Use a soft, dry cloth to gently wipe down the entire surface of the hearing aid. This removes earwax and debris buildup. Avoid getting moisture into the microphone and battery areas.

2.Our hearing aids are classified as IP68. This means that they are water and dust resistant and designed to withstand daily life situations. They can be worn in the rain but should not be fully submerged in water or used when taking a shower, swimming or other water activities.

3.If you are not using your hearing aids for a long period of time, store them in a well ventilated location. This allows moisture to evaporate from your hearing aid and prevents a potential impact on its performance.

Question:What happens if my hearing aids sound are weaker than Usual ?

1 :Check battery. Rechargeable if necessary.

2:Check tubing for cracks, fraying, moisture, etc. Replace if necessary.

3:Check that the earmold is not clogged with wax.

4:Reposition the earmold for a tighter fit; it may have been whistling (feedback) at a pitch
