Carbon Dioxide (CO₂ )

Carbon dioxide is a colorless, tasteless gas that is heavier than air and the gas itself shows little toxicity, but suffocation is possible. If the amount of carbon dioxide is higher than the amount of oxygen circulating in the brain, the respiratory disorder, headache, tinnitus, and blood pressure will rise.

Smoke Alarm

Before an open flame appears, CO will be produced. After carbon monoxide is inhaled, it will be combined with hemoglobin in the body. After carbon monoxide is inhaled with air, it enters the blood circulation through the alveoli. Proteins (such as myoglobin, cytochromes of divalent iron, etc.) form the reversible binding.
